Management Accountant

Are you an experienced Management Accountant with commercial acumen and production accounting experience, looking to make a role your own and drive forward a company?

Can you see yourself at a leading TV production company in Bristol’s thriving creative sector?

Are you looking for a flexible working opportunity for four days per week which can include school hours, long or short days and a work/office split?

This is a rare opportunity in a specialised, niche industry which combines flexible working with a hands-on, exciting role with loads of scope for professional development and progression. After enjoying significant organic growth, the company now has a requirement for a structured reporting framework to be implemented to provide strategic insight into group finances.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will take the lead in producing standard management accounting outputs. You will have a proven track-record of delivering management reporting and so this role requires both technical skill and a can-do attitude. You will be comfortable working independently and also in close collaboration with the Head of Finance. Additional duties will include assistance with financial accounts, production accounting, audit preparation, group VAT returns, month-end procedures and some transactional work to assist the team of Finance Coordinators.

In return, you will have the opportunity to leave your mark in a dynamic industry, play a key role in shaping the growth of the organisation and work on a flexible basis that suits your own work:life balance. You will have the opportunity to establish your own working pattern, which could be a combination of home and office hours, short/long days or school hours, with a generous salary of between £35,000-£40,000 pro rata, 28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and a company pension scheme.

The role would suit someone either fully or part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA with significant experience of producing and designing monthly management accounts.
