A candidate's view - one year on

Rob Moore first contacted us in May 2017.  He was relocating from London and looking for a flexible role in the South West that would use his background in Law and Business Development.  We helped Rob to find a role working 3 days per week as a Commercial and Legal manager with a Bristol-based business.  In this article, he describes his experience of the recruitment process and his first year In his role.

I first contacted Flexology when I was looking for a role in the South West, relocating from London.  I have a degree in law which I had developed commercially through hands-on experience in business development and operational roles.  I was looking for a role that would use all of these skills and also offer me a work/life balance.


Through Flexology I applied for a role as a Commercial and Legal manager position with a leading global developer of renewable energy projects. It was a great process, very smooth and the team were very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They took time to understand my background, experience and what I was looking for.  In addition, in advance of the interview I met with them for a full briefing on the role and the company and a mock interview. This gave me invaluable insight into what to expect. I was delighted to be offered the job.

I started my new position in June 2017, working 3 days per week, and I have now been with the company for over a year.  I am really enjoying my role, it is exactly as described and a great mix of project development, transactional work and hands-on business support.  Over time my role has grown and I now work 4 days per week, which has worked for me and my employer. My Fridays are spent working on my home renovation project - part of my move to Bristol!


I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Flexology to others looking to find a professional role, with flexibility.
