Bwambale is an orphan. He was just a tiny baby when he was found clutching his dead mother’s body. He was kept as a pet for two years, but grew pale, lost his hair and hugged his feet for comfort. Luckily he was rescued and now lives with other chimps at Ngamba Island chimp sanctuary in Uganda. He is the smallest of the group but is confident and playful. |
